I have returned home to Denver for the remainder of the general election campaign, and wanted to share some very exciting information about  The Big Tent now being erected in Denver for the Convention.

By now everyone here should know about  how the company formally known as Jet Blue said FU 2 YK.  Yes the tix are still available to YK (last I heard).  But hey Jet Blew it when they had the opportunity to make a firm reasoned sound business decision.  As noted by Markos on Monday

First please permit me to share some relevant information with you.  I would be considered creative (and maybe even very creative) from a conceptual or visionary standpoint.  However I have no artistic talent at all was so ever.  I failed penmanship through out elementary school and can only draw people still as stick figures.  I have such respect and jealousy for people who can envision a creative cartoon or drawing and actually do it themselves.

I was also a LONG time lurker here before I took a deep breath and "joined"  I know there are many many talented people here and through out the progressive and liberal blogosphere.

While I will grant you the comments made by a University of Colorado Journalism student might seem alarming or improper in the wake of this weeks Virginia Tech shootings, I would argue this starts US (you and I) down a very slippery slope regarding free speech and one of the purposes of a college experience.
